Hi, I am Dana Clark, LPC. Here is a bit about me….

Like an otter, I am here to curiously explore your child’s inner world, untangle the barriers that get in the way, and build a stronger raft of support with tools and strategies they can carry with them beyond the counseling office.

I have over a decade of experience in community and school settings serving children, teens, and their families. The last 4 years, I have been working as a School Counselor at a private independent school serving 3-18 year olds. Providing a supportive inclusive environment, I have assisted youth with everything from depression to self harm and anxiety to divorce.

I am a stepmom with two step kids and mom to an independently minded cat named Fezzik. My joys, besides my family, are connecting with friends, gardening, art, and well, otters.

  • Schedule a free consultation call and we will discuss further fit and next steps.

    Once we determine fit, we will schedule an hour long Intake session where we explore your child’s current symptoms and how the symptoms are affecting them, you, school, etc. I then will meet 1:1 with your child to build rapport and gain a better understanding of their view on their struggles.

    I have a person-centered collaborative approach.

    • Free Initial Consult

    • Intake Session - 60 minutes for $175

    • Individual / Family Therapy Session - 45 minutes for $150

    • Group Support Therapy Session - 50 minutes for $25

  • I offer both in-person and virtual appointments. Early childhood can make it hard to attend to virtual sessions. For this reason, I see 4 - 8 years olds in-person only. I can offer either in-person or virtual to children 9-18 years old, depending on which works best for them.

  • Starting in November, I accept the following insurances through the Headway platform:

    • Curative

    • Carelon Behavioral Health

    • Kaiser Permanente of the Mid Atlantic

    • CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • Cigna

    • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Virginia

    • Aetna

    Until my credentialing is complete, I take self-pay, HSA, and FSA cards. I will create a Superbill which can be used to gain Out of Network reimbursement.
