Welcome to Dana Clark, LPC

A woman with shoulder-length gray hair, wearing glasses and a maroon short-sleeve dress, sitting on a wooden chair in a well-lit room with a smile.
A collage of various children's handwritten and drawn cards and notes, many of which include messages of love and gratitude, along with drawings of animals, hearts, and scenes.

— a Licensed Professional Counselor with 11 years in community and school settings serving children, teens and their families in finding healing and helping in an inclusive supportive environment. I have assisted youth overcome and manage topics from depression to self-harm and anxiety to divorce.

On a personal note, I am a stepmom with two stepchildren and mom to an independently minded cat named Fezzik. My joys, beside my family, are connecting with friends, gardening, art, and well, otters.

Finding Joy…

Like the otter, play is a child’s form of communication. Their behavior tells us something is lost, missing, or unmet. Otters approach their days with curious exploration. And like the otter, I approach the counseling relationship with curiosity, using tools to find healthy ways to adapt, with the end goal of helping them gain their joy back.
